Bio
I have spent the last 6 years developing and evolving my skills a goldsmith and jewelry designer. I graduated and earned my degree at the Schoonhoven School for Gold Smithing in 2006. Since I graduated I have been part of several projects and exhibitions and currently show my work in galleries around Holland.
I am now happily living and working in Amsterdam.
Techniques
My work is based on spontaneous creativity, by playing with materials. I let them take shape and often use repetition to create interesting textures.
Such approach is fusion of both orthodox method based on hand made, labour-intense work and unorthodox freedom of experimentation.
Materials
My jewelry designs are mainly based on classic materials such as silver, gold, pearls, diamonds and other precious stones, even if sometimes I like to use more unusual media such as silicon rubber and resin.
